The art galleries listed below are casual and do not require an appointment.

  1. Explore a wide variety of Latin American *canvases at Amir Art Gallery, including J.R. Serrano's famous paintings of rural women and Rogelio Chávez's intricate paintings on feathers.  The gallery also features many paintings.  Open daily, 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

  2. Galería Diana's Collection includes traditional painting, unique wooden figures, replicas of pre-Colombian artifacts, and vibrant bird sculptures.  Open Mon. to Sat.

  3. Learn about traditional Coesta Rican Life at Galería Namu, which specializes in original indigenous folk art.  There are also practical items like wooden bowls, woven purses and hand painted titles.  Open Mon. to Sat.

  4. Discover one-of a kind finds at Galería Zukia, including works of poet/painter Gustavo Araya, who specializes in paintings of cartoon-like animals inscribed with his poetry and sketches.  Zukia also features wooden masks, sinister animals and *tribal figures.  Open daily 9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
